Managing Broken Links

Dismiss, recheck, and retry problem affiliate links right from the dashboard.

When the dashboard shows a problem link, you have three actions available directly in the Status column of the Affiliate Links table.

Mark OK (Dismiss)

For broken, blocked, redirect, out-of-stock, or unavailable links — click Mark OK in the status column. Blocked links also offer a Retry action alongside Mark OK (see below).

What happens:

  • The link's status switches to Checked (greyed out)
  • It will no longer trigger email alerts on future crawls
  • It still appears in your dashboard so you can audit it later

Use this when you've reviewed a flagged link and decided it's intentional — for example a deal you've already pulled, or a redirect you know about and accept.

Dismissed links are tracked at the account level by URL, so dismissing the same affiliate URL on one site silences alerts for it on every site in your account.

Unmark

If you change your mind, click Unmark on any Checked row to restore the original status. The link starts being checked and alerted on again from the next crawl.

Blocked links return 403 Forbidden, often because the merchant blocks automated traffic. The link may still work fine for human visitors.

Click Retry on a single blocked link to recheck it immediately. If you have several, the Retry All Blocked button at the top of the table rechecks every blocked link in one go and polls for results.

If a retry succeeds, the link's status updates to whatever it really is (healthy, broken, etc.). If it still returns 403, it stays blocked.

Manual Re-crawl of the Whole Site

To recheck every link on a site (not just blocked ones), trigger a fresh crawl from the site detail page. Manual crawls count against the same quota as scheduled ones.
